Who Put Us In Charge
28. Witches (Part Two)
Episode Summary
Why are women feared? How did witches come to be? Our great, GREAT grandmother was a witch who was hung in Salem, Massachusetts. Rebecca Nurse. She had nine children, and many grandchildren, and she was in her 70's when it happened. She was a good woman and a part of the church... and her family was healthy. (Which was rare.) We talk about what we learned, and how fear about women (and witches) created so much confusion back then.
